Sketchbook Pages...

Hello,

I have decided that I must try to remember to show more of my sketchbook pages...so with that in mind here are 2...

This first was sketched whilst we were away for a few days at Christmas....I just took my pencils and sketchbook with me in case I felt the urge to draw....it's not very good but I'm still practising sketching faces...

...and this I did this morning whilst listening to The Archers omnibus, inspired by the wonderful calligraphy artwork of Martha Lever.  Not calligraphy for me but just some doodling...

Any other Archers fans out there?

Happy Sunday.
Thanks for stopping by.

Grow is an interesting choice of word for your "doodle" which by the way is so much more than a doodle. Your work grows continuously and your portrait is an excellent example of that!

Love the "Grow". Yes, I'm an Archers fan, but I just listened this morning, no art (yet) today!

Fabulous sketch Lesley and your doodling is fab too. Thanks for sharing.x

We've had Ben & Holly on this morning NO chance of anything I'd like!!! I managed to sneak off and do a little journaling so I can't complain too much!

Enjoy the rest of the weekend. Gez.x

Here face looks amazing. love those eyes. You did such a great job at making them the same size.. I have such a problem with that. I really need to practice more.. And your word grow is so whimsical and fun..
Love it!!!

Hope you are enjoying your day!

Hi Lesely! I LOVE your girl, she looks so pretty, very nicely done! I also love your doodling! I would like to do more of that too, I think it's good practice for me.
